Hello, I’m Carol Williams and Welcome to Through My Eyes!

My relationship with photography began fifty plus years ago, in upstate New York where trees grow, waterfalls flow and mountains bloom. It’s here that my passion for capturing the imagines of nature became more than just a hobby; it became an art form that I can share so others can enjoy the excitement that my work brings me.

Now that I live in Wilmington, I’ve found it to be a never-ending canvas full of unique and interesting images that I can capture to create my art collections.

As an artist who is passionate about photography I have always enjoyed taking photos, of everything and anything I could. Getting up early and heading out before the first light of day. Clicking away with my camera in one hand, and coffee in the other, capturing everything I see. With my tri-pod and stepladder in tow, searching for that just right angle, that would lead to that just right photo. As the last light of day was slipping away I would be clicking away, shooting 200 to 300 photos at a time. Working away completely immersed in my work with creative juices flowing, toward my goal of capturing that just right image.
